Hisense wanted to run a nationwide in-store brand activation that rewarded customers who purchased Hisense products — but a manual prize-giving system carried serious risks. Prizes could be misallocated. Promoters could be unaccountable. Stock levels couldn't be tracked in real time. And there was no way to capture the brand moment or extend it socially after the customer left the store.

The brief called for a purpose-built solution that could:

Social Wiiv custom-developed a fully branded native Windows application (.APK) for the Hisense brand activation. The app was installed directly onto Windows tablets, with each tablet assigned to a specific promoter at a specific store. The app operated as the single point of truth for every customer interaction — from registration through to prize award and photo capture — eliminating any paper-based process and ensuring every action was logged digitally in real time.

3. Customer Registration & Spin & Win — Purchase-Verified Prize Engine

Every spin had to be earned. Before a customer could interact with the Spin & Win wheel, the promoter captured their details, photographed their till slip as proof of Hisense purchase, and logged the specific product purchased and price paid. Only then could the customer spin. The wheel's outcome was governed by real-time stock levels — ensuring it could never land on a prize that had run out.

Consumer Details Captured — The promoter captured each customer's name, surname, and cell number directly on the tablet app — building a verified, opted-in Hisense consumer database.
Till-Slip Photo Verification — The promoter photographed the customer's proof of purchase of a Hisense item directly through the tablet app camera — providing irrefutable purchase verification tied to every spin.
Product & Price Logged — The specific Hisense product purchased and the price paid were captured per activation — giving Hisense rich product-level data on what was driving in-store purchase behaviour during the campaign.
Customer Spins the Wheel — The verified customer spun the Spin & Win wheel on the tablet. The outcome was controlled by the Prize Management System — if any prize category reached zero stock, the wheel would never land on it, guaranteeing deliverable prizes every time.
Prize Auto-Captured — The prize won was automatically recorded in the Prize Management System and deducted from that promoter's prize inventory in real time — creating a complete, tamper-proof chain of custody for every prize.

4. Social Photobooth — Share the Win, Extend the Brand

After the spin, the brand moment continued. The promoter captured a photo of the winner using the tablet app camera — and a custom Hisense branded overlay was automatically applied. The winner received an SMS with a link to their personalised photo, hosted on a custom Hisense-branded microsite with direct share buttons to social media. Every link was tracked to measure how many winners chose to share their win — turning each activation into an organic social broadcast.

Winner Photo Captured — The promoter photographed the winner in-store using the tablet app immediately after the spin result, capturing the authentic moment of winning with a Hisense product in context.
Custom Branded Overlay — A custom Hisense branded overlay was automatically composited onto the winner's photo — creating a polished, share-ready branded asset without any post-processing delay.
SMS with Personalised Link — The winner was automatically sent an SMS to their verified cell number containing a unique link to their photo — delivered while they were still in-store and excitement was at its peak.
Branded Hisense Microsite — The SMS link took each winner to a custom-branded Hisense microsite displaying their photo alongside social share buttons — extending the activation moment beyond the store into the winner's personal social networks.
Tracked Share Links — All social share links on the microsite were individually tracked — providing Hisense with measurable data on shareability and reach generated by the photobooth component of the activation.
