Truth was paying third-party platforms like Howler to sell their tickets — and getting incomplete customer data in return. Social Wiiv built them a fully white-label ticketing platform: owned infrastructure, complete data ownership, phased pricing, online promoter commissions, QR access control, banner advertising, and email campaigns — all under the Truth brand.
Truth Nightclub was using third-party platforms like Howler to manage their event ticketing. On the surface this worked — events went on sale and tickets were sold. But beneath that, Truth was operating blind. Third-party platforms retain control of customer data, meaning Truth never had full access to the email addresses, phone numbers, and purchase histories of the people attending their events. Every ticket sold was building someone else's database, not their own.
The cost structure also didn't add up. Per-ticket transaction fees to third-party platforms were eating into margins, and the features available — pricing control, promoter management, access control, sponsorship advertising — were either unavailable or required additional platform costs. Truth needed to own their ticketing infrastructure outright.
"Every ticket sold on a third-party platform is a customer relationship you don't own. Truth wanted to change that — and build a platform that would let them market to, reward, and control access for their own audience."
— Social Wiiv Platform TeamThe brief called for a fully white-labeled ticketing platform — Truth's domain, Truth's branding, Truth's data — with sophisticated ticketing mechanics (phased pricing, bundles, upgrades, ticket allocation), an online promoter commission system, a built-in email marketing tool, banner ad placements for brand sponsors, and a fraud-proof QR-based access control system at the door.
Social Wiiv designed and deployed a full-stack white-label ticketing platform for Truth — covering everything from event creation and payment processing through to promoter commissions, email campaigns, banner advertising, and door access control. Six integrated components, one platform, zero third-party dependency.
The entire platform runs on Truth's own custom domain — not a Social Wiiv subdomain, not a Howler embed. Every touchpoint — from the event listing page through to ticket purchase confirmation — carries Truth's branding, colours, and typography. Customers interact with a Truth product throughout, and all data flows directly into Truth's CRM.
The core ticketing engine was built with the full complexity of a venue like Truth in mind — phased pricing that auto-advances, multiple ticket types, bundle configurations, per-order limits, ticket allocation to friends via WhatsApp, and the ability to upgrade a ticket after purchase.
Each phase has its own start date, end date, and ticket allocation. If a phase sells out before its end date, the platform automatically opens the next phase — no manual intervention required. Phases can also be configured to close by date even if not sold out.
Truth's team manages the entire platform through a full content management system — creating and editing events, managing ticket types and allocations, and publishing banner ad placements for brand sponsors without requiring any developer involvement.
Built directly into the platform, Truth's email campaign tool gives the team a full email marketing suite — with HTML template uploads, merge field personalisation, audience targeting, and delivery analytics — all sending from the Truth brand, to Truth's own first-party database.
Truth's team onboards online promoters who drive ticket sales via their own promo codes and custom URLs — earning commission on every ticket sold through their link. A two-tier manager/promoter structure keeps commissions organised and payable through the platform.
Every ticket purchased is linked to the buyer's Truth Passport — a dynamic QR code that refreshes every 30 seconds. This means screenshots don't work, sharing the QR code is pointless, and every scan at the door is a genuine, live ticket validation.
The next evolution of Truth's access control infrastructure will introduce a Facial Recognition App at entry points — eliminating the need for wristbands entirely and providing multi-gate, fraud-proof entry that ties each face to a verified ticket.
In less than a year since launch, Truth's white-label ticketing platform has built a database of 11,560 registered members and sold 7,449 tickets — all on owned infrastructure, with complete customer data flowing directly into Truth's CRM. Every email address, every phone number, every purchase history belongs to Truth, not a third party.
The shift from third-party to owned infrastructure changed the commercial model fundamentally. Transaction fees that were previously paid to Howler are now configured to pass through to the customer — keeping ticket revenue clean. The online promoter system created an incentivised distribution network of individuals actively selling Truth tickets and earning commission. And the email campaign tool means Truth can market directly to their full registered database with no per-send costs or platform restrictions.
"11,560 registrations in 8 months — and every single one of them is a Truth customer, not a Howler customer. That's the fundamental shift. The platform paid for itself in data ownership alone."
— Social Wiiv Platform TeamThe 30-second QR refresh on the Truth Passport eliminated the most common form of ticket fraud at nightclub events — screenshot sharing — without adding friction for legitimate ticket holders. Staff scanner management ensures the right access levels are in place across the full door team. And the upcoming Facial Recognition module will take Truth's access control infrastructure to a level typically reserved for stadium-scale events.
Stop paying third-party platforms and losing your customer data. Social Wiiv can build and deploy a fully owned, white-labeled ticketing solution with phased pricing, promoter commissions, email campaigns, and fraud-proof access control — all under your brand.
